
Rainbow Cinema is located in one of Ottawa's largest and busiest malls, St. Laurent Centre, at 1200 St. Laurent Boulevard. It is just north of Ottawa's main artery, the Queensway (St. Laurent exit). The Mall is easily accessible from any part of the city by car or bus. The cinema is located on the lower floor, and the best entrance to use is at the West side of the mall (near Sears and Sportscheck).
Rainbow Cinema offers all Ottawa movie-fans a variety of the best motion pictures at discount prices, only a few weeks after the movie's general release. Our "Toonie Tuesdays" and "Early Bird" 10 am shows are extremely popular!
Excellent service and warm hospitality makes each visit to Rainbow Cinema a comfortable and pleasurable experience. Selected movies are presented in open caption format (check movie listing for details) for the hearing impaired or those for whom English is a second language. The cinema is fully wheelchair accessible and has assistive listening devices.
The five auditoriums at the Rainbow Cinema are equipped with the latest sound and projection systems to enhance the movie presentations. Additional facilities at Rainbow Cinema include: a party room, interactive video Games, and plenty of free parking.
Patrons will admire the creative talents of Ontario-based artist, Fred Harrison, whose murals accentuate the décor of Rainbow Cinemas across Ontario. His larger-than-life artwork depicts famous landmarks of the Capital City.
